AD-VENTURE AHOY!
As an American advertising agency based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, we at Wieden + Kennedy Amsterdam wholly support celebrations for the 400th anniversary of the New Netherland colony—New Amsterdam—established in 1609 on the North American island of ‘Manhatoes.’
To contribute to the fanfare we will make our own transatlantic voyage! One on which we hope to gain new appreciation for the hardship, danger, and adventure associated with colonizing uncharted territories. Don’t worry, clients: none of the top talent working on your brands will be jeopardized in the venture. We will instead be sending eager interns, of which, given our prominent international standing, there is no small supply.
Supplied with satellite link, these enterprising ad hopefuls will keep us entertained with blogged reports of progress. We hope you’ll tune in for a live tribute to the pioneering spirit that gave rise to New Amsterdam—and a new nation!
